Our boy is doing fine ! Bob was very dehydrated and has an upper respiratory infection. He received some iv fluids and is on an antibiotic. We think he went on a typical walk and got disoriented and things went from bad to worse in the extreme torrential rains we had as he was found on the far side of a deep gulley. His tests were all good and he is on the mend. I want to thank everyone again for all the love, prayers and support. He is very blessed to have you ! He started out as a stray over 15 years ago when he was abandoned and alone. We found him patiently waiting for us at an empty house. And now, because of his sweet nature and God-given ability to touch the hardest of hearts with his lopsided gaze. His shameful begging and confident strolling through incredible crowds, persistent, loving children and interested dogs while preparing to nap unexpectedly at your feet, have garnered him an incredible amount of friends ! The friends who tell me to keep him “safe” in my house don’t understand him. He lives for his friends and visitors ! He gets up ready to go to work making everyone’s day brighter…not just to live. He waits at the door for all of you…every day…if you’ve met him you know this to be true! There are more important things than just living and this cat gets it ! Because of his situation he will be wearing a tracker and he will be kept quiet and you may not see him for a few weeks (unless you ask for a hug) but when he’s all better he will join you for your coffee again ! His love and goodwill are valuable and contagious…he is not my cat(I just get to take care of him when he’s not off doing God’s work) he is the people’s cat ! Thank you all again ! I know it was the prayers !
