It is with a heavy but a peaceful heart I say, we have sold the food trailer. She drove out of my driveway for the last time 🥹 ( I may of cried)

First, I just want to say God is amazing! 2 years ago I had a dream and he pushed me (among others) to Pursue this dream. I waited, I prayed, I calculated until it all fell into place. May of had an ah ha moment at of church with him speaking every word to me, that lit a fire under my bottom. I didn’t pull the trigger so to speak, until that moment. I made sure it all worked and fell into place even down to the name. I was told “oh people don’t want that. Men won’t eat there “ boy were they wrong! Our menu, us and our food truck were very successful!!! So many repeaters and MEN! I took a risk on a lighter menu and stuck to my brand and it worked!

Secondly, I am proud of myself for listening, being patient and taking the leap of Faith to take on such a huge task. I mean it’s not everyday ya open a food truck 🙃 what a journey it’s been! I can mark that off my bucket list ✅
That moment in church I thought it was God saying “take this path, this is the path you need to be on” but really I see now the message was “you can do anything you set your mind to, I believe in you, you should too. “ This has been the most humbling, amazing journey and I couldn’t have done it with out those pushing me. My husband, family, friends and most of all my amazing customers, those who followed, liked shared etc. You have all help to make this once a dream become a reality. For that, I will forever be grateful! Thank you for believing in this home cook mama. 🫶🏼 I am sad to have to walk away but I’m in my mama season and my kiddos deserve that attention!!! The timing isn’t right anymore for us and I am at peace with that. IYKYK.

Lastly, the messaged I received that never even crossed my mind, is that this food truck would help my marriage. (Yes I am being really real for a moment) Some think it would do the opposite it for us it’s exactly what we needed. What HE knew we needed! Mike stood by my side. Jumped in head first with me and never looked back, ok maybe once he did 😝
He’s been my rock through this whole journey. Hauling, set up, helping to cook, prep, orders and break down. Start to finish, him and I and it’s only made us stronger 💪🏼.

The message I never intended to receive was the best of them all! Again, I will say God is amazing. He’s always working on us and with us even if we don’t see it. I never even listed the trailer for sale! Someone sent me, someone else’s trailer had burnt. I messaged him and after a couple weeks he’s the new owner! Go follow Dannie’s sports tavern and go check out his place. Say hi to my truck when you see her. 🥹
Thank you for the new food truck family friends I’ve made. And mama dumplin herself for pushing me to get out of my comfort zone 🫶🏼

So if you’re still here I appreciate you. Thank you for the love and support. Without none of this would be possible. Perhaps one day, many moons from now, who knows we might be back until then…
love one another. Appreciate one another. Be kind to each other. Support those around you and always eat the yummy food!
