It’s hard to believe it’s been over
a year since we last served our loyal community. As many of you have reached out to us regarding our opening date we are excited to announce that our restaurant will be reopening soon. Dear loyal customers,

It's been quite some time since our last update. We would like to thank our contractors for all their hard work with the remediation. The progress is taking longer than we anticipated, but our project remains on track for an early fall reopening.

We appreciate all your kind messages, thoughts, and patience as we work diligently to bring New Mandarin Garden back to life. We miss our entire community and can't wait to serve you again soon.

Thanks to all our friends, patrons and the community for outpouring support we have received in the last few days. Both of us and the entire staff will work hard to relaunch New Mandarin as soon as possible . In the meantime we also want to say special thanks to Gary Sollosi from MI Fish Guy to find a temporary home for all our fish !

In 1982 our parents Michael Che and Nana Che opened their dream restaurant New Mandarin Garden in Farmington Hills. After 42 years being in business we have been a staple in the community and built thousands of friendships which we are so grateful for.
As many of you know on October 21st at 11am a fire caused significant damages to the restaurant. Fortunately no one was hurt. We want to express our deepest gratitude to Farmington Hills Fire Department and Farmington Hills Police Department for a quick response. Also, for overwhelming outreach of support.
We are working towards reopening the restaurant as soon as possible so we can serve our loyal community and continue our father’s legacy.
