Looking for something fun to do with your bestie or significant other tomorrow night?!

PAINT A PAL: SPOOKY EDITION 👻

Grab your favorite pal and get ready for a night of painting, drinking, and questionable artistic decisions!

For this spooky twist on Paint a Pal, you’ll paint a portrait of your friend—with a Halloween twist! Turn your pal into a witch, vampire, zombie, ghost, skeleton, pumpkin, or whatever wonderfully weird spooky character you can dream up.

Your $40 ticket includes:
🎨 All painting supplies and materials
👩‍🏫 Guided instruction by local comedian & artist Bethany Abeln
🍺 One free drink ticket
🏅 Very serious unofficial awards
🖼 Your pal’s portrait to take home

There will be awards for Most Artistic, Most Creative, and Most Unhinged. So bring your A-game… or at least bring a pal who won’t be offended by your artistic interpretation of them.

No painting experience is needed! Just bring a pal, grab a drink, and get ready to see what happens when Halloween meets portrait painting.

TONIGHT (Oct 5th): Death Over Drinks with Sacred Passage Death Doula Services 6:00-8:00pm

On the Mezzanine | free to attend

---

There are so many things we carry quietly in our relationships, especially when death feels far away or too uncomfortable to name. The apology we keep meaning to make, the story we never asked about, the gratitude we assume someone already knows. The forgiveness that feels complicated, the questions about dying, wishes, regrets, memories, family, love and what someone hopes to leave behind. Sometimes the hardest conversations are the ones we keep putting off because we think there will be more time.

This month at Death Over Drinks, we're gathering around the things we don't say, and making space for the conversations that often stay just beneath the surface until illness, loss, or death brings them rushing forward.

We'll talk about what can make these conversations so difficult, what we wish we had said to people we've lost, what we hope the people we love know about us, and how being a little more honest about death can sometimes help us be more present with each other while we're still here.

There is no pressure to share anything personal. Listening is always welcome, and the evening is meant to feel less like a formal discussion and more like sitting around a table with good people having the kind of talks we rarely make room for anywhere else.

Death Over Drinks is a 21+ community gathering hosted by Sacred Passage. It is free to attend with drinks available for purchase.
