I went to Frontier Falls to mini-golf with the kids the other day, I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Unfortunately, they do not serve alcohol, so luckily for you when your round is over and you've worked up a thirst we're just right across the bridge. See you soon.

So the Water Authority is flushing out the lines. Which means that the water may have a bit of a chlorine smell. Now I know a lot of sensitive types out there are already crying and whining about what is really just a very minor inconvenience. However, if your oh so delicate palate can't handle this adjustment, please keep in mind you have options. Beer is one of them. Actually, it's the only one worth listing. See you soon.

With summer in full swing, I know it is just a matter of time until our coolers and AC units start to malfunction, so I've decided to just lean into it. We have turned back on the furnace and are cranking it up. It should be 115 degrees in here soon. For the full effect I would recommend wearing your parka and wool hat. Will you look ridiculous? Yes, probably, but man will that beer taste good. See you soon.

Great weather we've been having, so I assume you have all of your lawn maintenance done. And since you do, maybe you've earned a beer, they go great with yard work. Don't have a lawn? Well beer goes great with all kinds of stuff, so pretend like you've done something of value and come get yourself a nice delicious reward.

School is almost out, which has me thinking about how to keep my kids occupied and learning throughout the summer. But then I thought maybe you want to learn also, so between 1 and 4:00 today you can try to spell one of my 3rd grade daughters spelling words. Spell it correctly, win a fabulous prize (probably a drink). Spell it incorrectly, no shame, though my 9 year old didn't miss one, so maybe a little shame. Also, Meatball Sandwiches today!

It's Friday! Are your kids done or almost done with school? Did it just occur to you that, that means you will have to start closing the bathroom door again and no more casual swearing when you stub your toe, now it's "Oh, fiddlesticks!", at least for 3 more months? Well, what are you waiting for? Come waste the day away in here, thinking about how great September will be. Oh, and daydreaming goes great with a beer, maybe an Anderson Valley Summer Solstice.

Chicken Salad Sandwiches today! Yes, we were supposed to have them last week. But as we've already established, I'm an idiot. So just move on and have one already.
