When we say our food is made with love, this is what we mean. ❤️

We don’t rely on pre-cooked meals that just need to be heated and served. So much of what you enjoy at Fava Pot is prepared right here in our kitchens, using fresh ingredients and the same recipes and techniques that make Egyptian food feel like home.

It takes more time and a whole lot more work, but we wouldn’t want to serve it any other way.

Inspired by Egypt’s beloved بن محوّج (Bun Mhawweg), our new latte is made with espresso, cardamom, brown sugar & full-cream milk — rich, creamy and beautifully aromatic.

We’re a small, restaurant, so our front-of-house does a little bit of everything:

✨ Welcoming and serving guests
✨ Taking orders
✨ Making and serving drinks
✨ Running food
✨ Bussing and cleaning tables
✨ Keeping the dining area clean and organized
✨ Helping wherever needed to give our guests a great experience

🗓️ Fixed Schedule: Monday–Friday
⏰ 8:30 AM–6:00 PM

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, positive, enjoys working with people, and is comfortable staying active throughout the shift.

Restaurant experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are most important.

Your chai isn’t coming from a machine. We make it right here at Fava Pot using hot sand. The sand slowly and evenly heats the tea, creating a cup that’s worth watching come together and even better to drink.

The perfect summer salad doesn’t exi— 👀

Fresh watermelon, organic arugula, Egyptian feta, scallions, and our famous falafel, all dressed with sumac, lime, and olive oil. It’s fresh, sweet, salty, and filling enough to make it a meal.

Fava beans are a staple in Egyptian cuisine, and at Fava Pot, we make ours the traditional way. They’re slowly cooked in a traditional fava pot until they’re tender, flavorful, and ready to enjoy.

It’s a simple dish with a whole lot of history behind it, and one we’re always proud to share with you. ❤️

All month long, order any breakfast entrée at our Boro location and enjoy a free espresso beverage sponsored by Cervantes Coffee Roasters . It’s the perfect excuse to try a traditional Egyptian breakfast if you haven’t already.

Breakfast is served at both our Falls Church and Boro locations, but the free espresso offer is available at The Boro only through the end of August.
