Anyone else heading to see Tedeschi Trucks Band at Wolf Trap Friday or Saturday? Misty and I will be there—and for us, this show means so much more than just another great night of music.

Tedeschi Trucks Band is woven into the story of Settle Down Easy Brewing in a very personal way. The last concert I ever went to with my brother Bryan was Tedeschi Trucks Band in February 2015. Less than 30 days later, we lost him.

That night, that music, and the joy Bryan found in it have stayed with me ever since. The happiness, energy, and inspiration of this incredible band became part of the motivation behind creating Settle Down Easy Brewing. In so many ways, Bryan’s spirit is still a part of what we built.

So if you see us at Wolf Trap this weekend, please come say hello, grab a hug, and share a beer with us.

And this summer, Tedeschi Trucks Band has been covering “Loving Cup” by The Rolling Stones—one of those songs I would absolutely love to hear live this weekend.
