Hi folks,
Before the rumors start flying around town, we have some bitter sweet news for you. Jennifer and I have sold our restaurant building. Oink and Moo will no longer exist.šŸ’” We decided it’s better to close down with our ratings, reputation and good name intact, instead of letting the Moo open under new ownership. Although it was a difficult decision, Jennifer and I are very happy with the ultimate outcome and we are looking forward to the next chapter in life.

😄We are saddened that we did not get a chance to properly say our goodbyes in person. We have gotten to know so many of you and not properly saying goodbye is heartbreaking. As you know, the restaurant business is difficult and can be all consuming. It’s filled with rising costs and regulations, and now a difficult virus that changed the restaurant industry as we know it. The Oink and Moo experience relies on the personal touch, smiling face to smiling face, an energy in the room you could feel and lots of people working together closely. We considered adapting, but quickly realized that running a restaurant in these times doesn’t seem fun or fulfilling to us. The Covid experience has given us time to re-evaluate our lives and to prioritize our precious time. We plan to do some traveling and to just take the time to enjoy life and have some fun. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to serve you. You made us feel like family and supported us to the end. You stood by our sides even when we made mistakes and you never stopped making us feel loved, appreciated and accepted in Fallbrook. We hope we created some great memories, delicious flavors and memorable fun experiences for you, throughout the years. We hope you remember us fondly and keep us in your thoughts. We hope you can look back at your time at Oink and Moo as special and unique. You will all be missed by us and we are so grateful to have gotten to know you. We have made many new friends and we are excited to spend some quality time growing those friendships. Now that we have some free time, we look forward to all of your party šŸŽ‰ and dinner party šŸŽŠ invites, when the virus is defeated.

šŸ™Thank you Friends of Fallbrook , Tracey Lubben and her crew have created an incredible platform that helped grow our business into the success that it was. And a special thank you to all our friends/patrons that supported us and helped make Oink and Moo such a cool place, filled with great people, awesome food and music. We really do love youšŸ˜

šŸ‘‰We are excited that the new owners have some impressive experience and will hopefully bring Fallbrook another fantastic restaurant. The new owners will introduce themselves and their concept soon and we wish them the best of luck and success.

šŸ‘‰Business owners, keep in mind, if an applicant applies at your business and you see Oink and Moo listed as one of their jobs, know that this person, is the hardest of workers. A dedicated, well trained, employee with the highest of standards that she/he can take on any job. Know that they are the reason Oink and Moo was such a success without them we would have been nothing. Call us for a reference if they didn’t impress you already.

Please feel free to reach out to us and give us your email address for anyone that wants to contact us personally. Our email address is ‪[email protected]‬ or ‪[email protected]‬

Thank you to everyone for 9 wonderful years,
With all the ā¤ļø love and respect ✊ ,
Jennifer and Jonathan šŸ˜˜šŸ„°šŸ˜

Due to state and federal mandates in dealing with the Coronavirus outbreak, Oink and Moo is currently closed.ļæ¼ We decided it’s just not safe for our guest, our staff, community or ourselves.ļæ¼

Let’s address the elephant in the room. Will Oink and Moo open again ?

We plan to see how long this lasts and make the call. Running a restaurant has been increasingly harder every year. We really need to see if we are able to overcome some of the challenges that have recently overtaken the restaurant industry. We have increases in wages and operating costs and now a virus outbreak that’s created uncertainty in all our lives. The short of it is we have not made any concrete decisions yet, it’s a constant internal battle that we both struggle with, while trying to digest what just happened. One minute we are open and the next minute we had to make one the most incredibly difficult decisions. We know how much all of you love and support us. We know how much Oink and Moo means to all of you. We are eternally grateful for that and that weighs heavily on us also. It was also As soon as we know what the plan is, we will post. We are tossing some ideas around and we hope to see you all in person on the flip side.

Until we meet again, with love ā¤ļø,
Jennifer and Jonathan.

Sorry folks, we feel we have to close Oink and Moo down. Sunday will be our last day. We always aimed to be a positive and productive force in our community. We feel the responsibility is ours to do whatever we can to curtail the spread of the virus. Our kitchen is just too small to maintain the 6’ distancing rule. Although the price for our decision is costly, for us and our staff, we know it’s the right thing to do. As much as our hearts are broken because we won’t be able to see you, our guests, neighbors, friends and co-workers for awhile, we know it’s what we have to do. As you can see we are taking this threat seriously. We hope you do to. It’s ironic that we can only beat this virus by being apart and the only way we can do that is if we all work together to do the right thing. Thank you all for being the best guests a restaurant could ever ask for. Thank you for being our friends.

Jennifer will be liquidating our beer and wine inventory so if you need any, please stop by. We will be selling it below cost. I will also have some cases of food and goods to sell at whole sale prices.

We will miss you,
Jennifer and Jonathan and the Oink and Moo staff.

PS, I do need a personal favor. Anyone that’s a friend to oink and moo or Jen and I, that’s a lawyer and can help me draft a letter, that would be greatly appreciated. Please reach out to me.

Hello everyone,
You might want to sit down for this one...
Out of an aboundness of caution for the health and safety for our staff, our neighbors, family and friends, we are going to be temporarily closing the dining room at Oink and Moo and offering to go’s only. We feel a responsibility to our community to not create opportunities for groups to gather. It’s not safe for anyone. If we don’t try now as hard as we can as a community, this thing will last longer and the damage will be greater. We will lose loved ones and friends. With the decrease in revenue, we are forced to make some hard and painful decisions . Decisions that have and will continue to keep us up at night. Decisions that have a huge impact on the lives of our staff. Most of my staff was laid off tonight. With the exception of 6 kitchen employees working a few days each, 15 of my staff members will be unemployed. Jennifer and I feel an extreme deep sadness by this. These are our people, our friends. They stood by our side with the common goal of delivering the best customer experience possible and to be the best possible employees. In that, they succeeded.

Moving forward, we will only be offering to-go orders and we will take it week to week and see how it goes. To be completely transparent, we are skeptical that take out will save us. But we are going to try and see what happens. We will limit and change our menu to reflect the current conditions and supply lines. All we can do is hope that things get better soon. Jen and I will be formulating a plan on how to proceed over the next few days. We will be closed this upcoming Wednesday March 18th and every Wed until this passes. We will be open for take-out only Thursday-Sun from 4:30pm-8pm.

To our staff, we love you ā¤ļø. You mean the world to us. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed. You are the reason Jennifer and I are successful. You are the reason Oink and Moo is ranked so highly. You are the reason why the food tastes and looks so good and why our customers absolutely adore you. We are going to fight and fight hard. And if things go well, we will re-unite soon. For now stay strong, be kind to each other and the people around you. Continue that Oink and Moo spirit of doing the right thing, having high standards and being the best we can be. Help those that need your help, your drive to be the best will pay off, that I can honestly guarantee. No matter how things end up, we will always be friends and Jen and I will always mentor you. You know you can reach out to us for any reason at any time. We will be there for you like you have been there for us.

We hope for your continuous support.

Sincerely and with tears in our eyes,
Jennifer and Jonathan Arbel

BREAKING NEWS.....
Oink and Moo has a very serious message for everyone in town.

In these scary and uncertain times, Oink and Moo has decided to step up and really help out the community. First let’s make it clear...We believe this virus situation is bad and serious, and we as a community have to come together and take the appropriate actions to prevent the spread of the virus. We have to treat each other with kindness and compassion. We have to lookout for one another. We know it’s serious and scary, but sometimes when the pots boiling over, a little fun, levity and humor is the best medicine.

Oink and Moo asked the community...What do you need? What can we do? How can we help? Do you need food, alcohol or a hug? The answer is a resounding ā€œNo.ā€

WE WANT TOILET PAPER AND WE WANT LOTS OF IT!!! So here it is....Oink and Moo will be giving away 1 case of toilet paper 🧻 96 ROLLS of double-ply heavy doodie heaven. Hi Everyone,
So...we can all agree that Ana looks like the gal on the Starbucks cup, right?
Well....Starbucks isn’t paying her for all her hard work, so she entered an Inked magazine tattoo contest. Oink and Moo is asking for you to support her by voting for her to be the Top Inked Magazine Cover Girl. Ana has worked at Oink and Moo since day 1. She was one of our first and best hires. Throughout the years, she has shown us what a dedicated, hard working employee she is. She’s someone you can really count on. She puts a smile on everyone’s face, always providing excellent customer service. So now it’s time for us to be there for her.

We are asking you to vote for Ana for a chance to win $25kšŸ’°. You can vote once a day (every 24 hours). With a push from Friends of Fallbrook we can guarantee Ana a place in the winners circle. Just click on the link below to vote.
