HELP US FILL THE TABLE THIS THANKSGIVING!

Thanksgiving is coming, and THRIVE For Humanity is preparing a beautiful Thanksgiving meal for 225 of our unsheltered neighbors including our elderly neighbor’s.🥰🙏

We want this to feel like Thanksgiving should with a warm meal, a seat at the table, kindness, conversation and community. 🥰

If you would like to help us make this day special, we are collecting the following:

VEGETABLES & SIDES
•
• 100 cans cut green beans — 14.5 oz
• 60 cans cream of mushroom soup — 10.5 oz
• 10 large containers French fried onions
• 70lbs fresh squash
• 3 bags brown sugar — 2 lb
• 7 lbs butter
• 800 individual butter cups

THANKSGIVING DINNER
6 Turkey’s
• 40 jars turkey gravy
•
• 3 gallons milk

DESSERT
• 20 cans whipped cream
• 400 dessert plates
Dessert is already guaranteed.

DRINKS & HOT BEVERAGES
•
* 15 - 128 ounce cans of lemonade mix
• 50 tea bags
• 400 hot cocoa packets
• 1,000 individual creamers
• 2,500 sugar packets
• 1,000 coffee stirrers

PAPER & SERVING SUPPLIES
• 600 hot cups
• 400 dinner plates
• 450 utensil sets
• 500 napkins
• 50 large foil pans

TO-GO SUPPLIES
• 200 small to-go meal containers
* 200 to-go meal containers

You don’t have to provide an entire quantity to make a difference. 10 cans, a case, a package or even one item helps us get closer to filling the table. 🥰

For the first time since 2004, we are having a Festival of the Portuguese Philharmonic Bands on October 3rd. This will celebrate the continuation of our traditions and customs. There will be eight philharmonic bands performing in this wonderful event, starting with a parade at 10am on South Main Street in Fall River, Ma. At 12 noon we will begin the concert series indoors at the The Cultural Center. Please join us to celebrate and support this special event. This will become an annual event that will be hosted by a different band each year!

It was an honor to host the Grandes Festas Do Divino Espírito Santo Da Nova Inglaterra and to have Former President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and President of the Regional government of the Azores Jose Manuel Bolieiro, this past weekend.

🤍 Your Day-of Coordinator is there to make sure YOU and your wedding run smoothly.

We’re the ones texting your vendors, keeping your timeline on track, lining everyone up before the ceremony, fluffing your dress, bustling it after the ceremony, finding missing boutonnieres, making sure Grandma gets on the shuttle, fixing the seating chart mix-up, grabbing you a drink, and handling the million little things you never even knew happened.

Our goal? That the only thing you have to worry about is marrying your best friend. 💍✨
