Happy 3 Year Anniversary of Mugs 'N Mittens Cat Café 💛

Three years ago, my husband and I opened Mugs 'N Mittens Cat Café in a little 900 square foot unit off of Locust Avenue out toward Monongah. We could not serve our own drinks because of health code restrictions with the cats. I am so floored by the progress we've made since then!
We bit the bullet and decided to move to a larger building closer to downtown and have seen such a huge increase in support and success that we are so grateful for. Since reopening, our menu has grown, our cat lounge has improved, and our events have gotten even grander.

To celebrate our anniversary, we decided to share a secret with you. Shh, don't tell anyone, come closer, I'll whisper in your ear....

Sorry, I meant to whisper it, but I got excited.
We have lots of ideas for our new building, including working with a rescue inside the building, leaning into ice cream and specialty floats and shakes, making higher quality smoothies with frozen fruit, and making the cat room larger than the café lobby.
If you have any requests, ideas, or suggestions, please feel free to share! We are always so grateful to all of you and we truly value your input. We are starting our planning quite early and this won't be for another year or so, but keep an eye out for updates!
