Good Frosty Wednesday Morning! Let’s hope the temps killed off some of the flies out there! And not because they’d be fresh ingredients for National Chocolate Covered Insects Day! It’s also National Desserts Day! We are not going to celebrate both!
Today’s special is our Homemade Pyrohy/Perogies (potato, cheese, and kraut) and they are served up with Shrimp or Sausage! And we also have Chicken Noodle Soup today!
We’re also working on some Twists and Cookies!
And a quick note that we will be closed Thursday and Friday for another very busy weekend of catering!

And it’s that magical time where for the 3rd year in a row, I put myself through the wringer to acquire enough pumpkins to bring for the Billings County school kids to decorate or carve or whatever they do in school nowadays!
And so the curse from that one-eyed witch in the woods is kept at bay for another year, or until next October’s first rain after the new moon, or whatever she shrieked at me from her hut all those years ago! Have fun, kids!

Good Sunday Morning!
Guess who was at St Bernard’s last night around midnight carving butter into perfectly rectangular servings and meticulously wrapping each one in gold foil?
NO ONE, because that would be silly! But, we did see this sleepy-looking, bearded man delivering heavenly-smelling ingredients for all to enjoy!
That’s right, the St Bernard’s Fall Bazaar is just hours away, and the church ladies will be busy cooking a delicious meal starting at 11:30, followed by Bingo, Raffle, Children’s Games and more! Good Friday Morning! It’s National Moldy Cheese Day! (The good kind!) We’re also toward the end of National Mental Illness Awareness Week, which is part of World Mental Health Month! Whether it’s having gone through treatment 25 years ago, or ongoing counseling and therapy sessions today, mental health is just as important as physical health!
Fun Fact: You don’t need those experiences to own a Four Corners! (But it helps!)
(NationalDayCalendar.com has a great summary for that on October 7th!) Memory loss is a common symptom of a variety of mental health conditions! End the stigma! Talk to your loved ones and your doctor!
(I guess I missed a school board meeting? Was I supposed to formally ask about things that we briefly chatted about in passing with a couple of you? I don’t know how that works. Educate me! Please!)
It’ll have to wait until after this weekend though, because we cater a three day retreat, AND we’re happy to once again help out with some of the cooking for the St. Bernard’s Fall Bazaar being held THIS SUNDAY at the St. Bernard’s Parish Center in Belfield! A great meal and plenty of fellowship & fun for the whole community! Details in the pic below!

Good Morning! It’s National Perogie Day! Yay!!! AND it’s National Fluffernutter Day! But we’re CLOSED this week! Oh, Fluffernutter! Watch your mouth! But if you were attending last night’s catering, you got to enjoy some Perogies!

Fun Facts: Did you know that perogie/pierogi/pirogi (spelling varies based on local regions and ethnic heritage) means filled-dumpling or stuffed-dumpling? You can fill Perogies with just about anything!
(Like, if you filled a Perogie with the 3 requirements to be elected auditor, it would be a sad, barely filled, tiny perogie! But if you filled a perogie with the qualifications for a deputy auditor, it would be big and busting at the seems! Like, wouldn’t you want the elected auditor perogie to be the main, big one filled with all of those qualifications and knowledge? And not just a barely filled boiled dough flap? It’s kind of up to us perogie-pinchers to decide if we want the main perogie to be filled with the best fillings! But I definitely have a hearty appetite and my scale shows it! Every family and dinner table is different though!)

Fun Fact: You don’t need a 2 year and 4 year degree to own a Four Corners! You don’t even need to live in Billings County! (Though it certainly helps!)
You know what job DOES require you to live in Billings County? If you said: every elected county office, you’d be correct! Great job!

Good Morning! It’s National Homemade Cookie Day and World Vegetarian Day! While we accept people of all culinary choices, we will only be celebrating one of those today! (But since our cookies are meatless, I suppose we are celebrating both?)
Anyway, it’s Thursday, which is Burger & Shake Day! All Milkshakes & Malts are 50¢ off, and all Burgers are $1 off!
Side note: we will be closed tomorrow (Friday) for wedding catering!

Good Morning! It’s Wednesday, which is Homemade Pyrohy/Perogie Day! We have potato, cheese, and kraut, and it’s served up with Roast Beef topped with Gravy! And someone that’s definitely not me worked hard on today’s Homemade Cabbage Roll Soup made with her own garden ingredients!
We also have Fresh Caramel Rolls and Twists rising, and Cookies are in the mixer!
