NOW HIRING — EVENT STAFF & BARTENDERS | $25/HOUR

Hogback Mtn BBQ is looking to add a few great people to our event team for our busy fall catering season and 2027.

This is part-time, event-based work and is a great fit for someone looking to earn extra money without committing to a regular weekly schedule. Most of our events are weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations throughout the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding areas.

Pay: $25/hour

We're looking for people who are:

Dependable — if you commit to an event, we need to know you'll be there
Friendly, professional, and comfortable working around guests
Willing to work as part of a team
Able to stay busy and help wherever needed
Available primarily Fridays, Saturdays, and some Sundays
Able to lift and carry catering equipment as needed

Now Hiring Event Staff: You'll help with setup, buffet service, guest hospitality, maintaining the service area, and event breakdown.

Now Hiring Bartenders: Previous b**r and w**e service experience is required. Mixed beverage experience is a plus.

Experience is helpful, but for event staff, attitude and dependability matter more to us than a résumé. We'll teach the right person how we do things.

At Hogback, we're not just looking for people to put food on a buffet or pour drinks. We want people who genuinely enjoy taking care of others. Great hospitality matters to us.

Time Update for Saturday in Fairfield

We’ll be opening at 11:00 AM instead of 10:00 AM.

Pre-orders for smoked turkey close at 5:00 PM today
All remaining pre-orders close at 12:00 PM tomorrow

This will be our last service before we return in June, so make sure to get your orders in.

Thank you to everyone who came out today for barbecue. We apologize for the rust that set in over winter and bottleneck at the beginning of the day. We’ve worked out a plan to prevent that next time. As always, when you switch things up and offer new items you have to figure out the flow. We’ll see you back two from today. Same location.
