My father was the one who made cars a part of my life growing up. Whether it was spending hours racing on our slot car track in the attic, driving our remote control cars up and down the street in front of our house, waking up early to go to car shows, or simply pointing out interesting cars whenever we were out, those moments are some of my favorite memories with him. They were the foundation of the passion I have for cars today.

To honor my dad, we decided to name one of our signature drinks after his Datsun 280Z. Throughout his life, he owned several Zs. After being diagnosed with cancer and losing his leg, he made the difficult decision to sell the one he had because he could no longer drive a manual transmission. Years later, he found one last 280Z, and it was the final Z he owned before he passed away in 2021. We still have that car today.

We named The Z to honor my dad. My love for cars started with him, and over the years it’s grown into a huge part of who I am. Every time I see the name on our menu, I’m reminded of where that passion began.

I wouldn’t have the love for cars that I do today without my dad. Naming The Z after his car is my way of saying thank you for introducing me to something that has shaped so much of my life.

Yesterday was a great day in Carroll Valley!

Thank you to Carroll Valley Borough, PA and Carroll Valley Parks & Recreation for trusting us to host the 4th of July Car meet! And thank you to all of those who showed up to the meet! We had cars from Salem, VA, Frederick, and of course, Fairfield and Carroll Valley.

We love this community 🤍🇺🇸
