We are back stay tuned 🔥
We introduce you to the most important dish in our menu!
Our traditional Jordanian Dish: Mansaf!
Mansaf consists of 3 layers and is made of lamb cooked in a sauce of fermented dried yogurt and served with rice. We put a layer of a very think flatbread under the rice!
The meat is garnished with almonds and pine nuts and served on a platter.
The fermented yogurt is called: Jameed!
Guests are standing around a table, waiting for the Mansaf to be eaten by their hands (right one to scoop the rice and meat, the left hand behind the back.)
Mansaf is served during special occasions or on Friday's. The host keeps drenching the rice with Jameed as a nice gesture to show hospitality and respect.
This is the Jordanian culture!
We would love to thank everyone who tried our previous dish: the Egyptian Kushari dish!
Orders for Mansaf are two days prior.
