Something absolutely DIVINE is coming for Fall Festival this coming season!

Rose Petal Marmalade specifically! :O Yup exactly what it sounds like. Delicate and sweet, but not overpoweringly floral. So many recipes on the web, (jam, jelly, condiment version too) not to mention some VERY involved, time consuming and complicated processes.

I found its also called Gulkand, in India, and is quite popular. Venetian Monks make it to this day (theirs is more like a syrup than firm marmalade though) I think would be a HUGE hit and PERFECT at The Peacock Tea Room! I am looking at tons of recipes to find the right combination for the perfect, lightly fragrant, pink marmalade smattered with rose petals to schmear on a Scone! :O :O :O --------Chef Randy

Progress Report on the new Herbal Tea I am creating!

I think I have the balance of flavors I want consistent, but making sure the blue color is always vibrant is the last step before I put it out there for some taste testing. To give you a hint, think a sort of Chai, but no black tea in it so you get the spices etc. but not the caffeine. :O More coming soon! :) ----------Chef Randy
