Say hello to October with our new drink of the month: A Pumpkin Sauce Latte with Toasted Marshmallow Cream! All proceeds will be going towards Lynn Campbell’s work as part of our Educator Support Fund. 🧡
🍁Get to know Ms. Campbell: "I teach 4th grade at Woodriver Elementary School. I grew up here in Fairbanks and went to UAF for college. I originally was pursuing an art and education degree. When I was a student here in the FNSBSD, we had traveling art teachers and I knew that was what I wanted to do. Unfortunately, they cut that program soon after I started my degree, so I decided to take the Elementary Education route. I heavily incorporate art into my own practice, and I find that it is a great way to engage students with their learning. In my classroom we do weaving, knitting, Friday art, and more. I love working with children, and I feel so grateful to work here in Fairbanks!"
