Pretzel Cutting - tonight at 6pm!

While Stein Holding is about brute strength and stamina, Pretzel Cutting relies on visual acumen, precision, and elite hand-eye coordination. Stop by tonight to attempt the impossible, or maybe possible: cutting a pretzel exactly in half. Did you miss the first round of Stein Holding on Saturday? Well fear not - the second preliminary round is tonight at 6pm! Warm up those muscles for the chance to win two tickets aboard the sold-out HooDoo ChooChoo on Friday, September 25th.

Stein Holding Finals will take place this Thursday at 6pm, so this is your last chance to qualify.

Speaking of Steins - we’re now offering 1-liter Stein fills of HooDoo b**r in the Taproom! Yep - it’s a new size option when you order at the bar, so even if you forget to bring your own vessel, you can still enjoy a stein of HooDoo b**r any time, any day.

Danke, Fairbanks!

This year’s Oktoberfest kick-off was one for the books. Jade Nelson unveiled her Oktoberfest 2026 artwork; Mayors O’Neall and Hopkins helped us tap the ceremonial firkin of our fest L***r; we held the first preliminary round of stein holding; we ate mountains of tasty, traditional German food; and in just one day we sold out of this year’s steins.

Saturday was only the beginning. Stay tuned for more stein holding, pretzel cutting, trivia, yodeling, bratwurst catching, and liters upon liters of great b**r.

Oktoberfest is all about coming together with friends and family to celebrate over some tasty brews and great games, and we’re so happy to be here celebrating with you again this year.

HooDoo Oktoberfest L***r is our take on a traditional Oktoberfest Marzen L***r.

Brewed according to Reinheitsgebot (the Bavarian b**r purity law) using the best malt on Earth from Weyermann in Bamberg, the rich, complex malt flavor is incomparably delicious, yet so…so smooth. Hopped for balance in the boil kettle with the finest Hallertauer hops from Bavaria, then fermented with our favorite l***r yeast strain, this beautiful b**r has satisfying depth and is best enjoyed by the liter, but a pint works too! On tap Saturday 9/19 at Noon.

Jade Nelson will join us to unveil her beautiful Oktoberfest artwork, and Mayor Hopkins will swing the hammer and tap the cask of Oktoberfest l***r at Noon.

But wait, there’s more…the HooDoo Bier Hall opens at 11am, and the first Stein Holding qualifying round starts at 2pm!

It’s going to be a great couple of weeks - PROST!!

Oktoberfest kicks off this Saturday, and the 2026 Steins are in!

We love these Kannenbacker 1 Liter Maßkrugs. The Kannenbacker region of Germany is considered the birthplace of the German b**r stein and has been producing some of the finest pottery around for 600 years or so. There is nothing quite like drinking a fine l***r out of a well made German b**r stein…

These beauties feature some groovy birch trees from Jade Nelson’s awesome Oktoberfest painting and will be available in the Taproom when we open the doors at 11am on Saturday, September 19th.

Oktoberfest kicks off on Saturday 9/19 at HooDoo! Mayor Hopkins will tap the first cask of Oktoberfest L***r at noon, and the festivities begin! O’zapft is!

Happy Saturday, Fairbanks! Back by popular demand, this week we’re tapping into a fresh cask of jalapeño IPA. We added a pair of chopped jalapeño peppers to ten gallons of our classic American IPA, where they’ve been conditioning for a few weeks to lend the b**r a hint of pepper flavor and a delightfully spicy kick. Taps at Noon - stop in for a pint before it’s gone.
