Happy Saturday! ☀️

I spent some time at the café this week photographing our specials, and I have to admit, I spent way too long trying to decide which picture to post first. 😂

The French toast always looks so good, but I was really torn between that, the Fall Harvest Breakfast Bowl, and the whole table shot.

So I’m curious, which photo would you have picked first?

We’ve got some really good things coming out of the kitchen this weekend, from Cranberry Orange French Toast and Brisket Benedict to Pumpkin Pancakes, Apple C***r Donuts, and some fun seasonal drinks.

Also, if you ever see me wandering around Café 72 with my camera, please come say hi! I love getting to meet the people who follow along here. ❤️

Open kitchens or closed kitchens?

Some people love being able to watch the cooks at work, see their food being prepared, and take in everything happening behind the counter. Others would rather just enjoy their breakfast and leave the kitchen to the kitchen.

Speaking of what’s happening behind the scenes, meet Douglas and Emanuel! Two of the guys behind so many of the breakfasts that come out of Café 72.

We figured it was time to put some faces to the food.

A rainy Sunday, but Friday and Saturday gave us the perfect weather for breakfast outside. ☀️ A full patio and so many familiar faces—thank you for spending part of your weekend with us. 🤍

Well… Sam + Aranza are back. And apparently we’ve promoted them to the Café 72 weather team. 😂

Reporting live from Ewing: it’s raining. A lot.

But Café 72 is open normal hours today, 7:30 AM–2:30 PM, so don’t let the weather keep you away. Come get some coffee, breakfast, lunch and stay dry with us.

At this point we’re not entirely sure what job Sam + Aranza will have next… but we’ll keep you posted.

Weekend specials 9/26

Pot Roast Melt, Farmers Market Benedict, French Onion Egg White Omelette, Raspberry French Toast, Pumpkin Pancakes… and somehow we still found room for Apple C***r Donuts and Funnel Fries.

We’ve also got French Onion & Spinach Egg Drop soup, plus plenty of new specialty drinks to try.

As the seasons change, so does our archway. 🍂

Fall has officially made its way to Café 72, and of course we had to give the front door a little seasonal change too.

Happy first day of fall 🍂

The syrups are stocked, the coffee is hot, and we’re officially ready for cozy season at Café 72. Pumpkin, maple, cinnamon… all the good stuff is making its way back into our mornings.
