Tomorrow night at 7 PM it’s time to go back to the 80s at The Bourbon!

Break out your neon, leg warmers, acid-wash jeans, leather jackets, big hair, parachute pants, band tees, or your favorite 80s look. We want to see everyone dressed for the decade!

We’ll be playing all your favorite 80s hits during DJ Bingo, with great prizes, great music, and a night full of fun.

The best dressed 80s outfits may even win a special prize!

It is with profound sadness that I share the heartbreaking loss of my husband, Cole.

We are still trying to process this unimaginable reality while seeking answers.

North Lake Samish – July 11, 2026
1:00–2:00 p.m.

If you know anyone who lives along North Lake Samish Road and has security or doorbell camera footage from this time period, please reach out. East Lake Samish and all entryway around the lake ring cams or video will help as well.

Based on the medical findings we have received, investigators have been informed that Cole’s injuries are consistent with being struck by a vehicle. We are asking anyone with video footage or information from the area during this time to come forward.

Every piece of information could help us better understand what happened.

Together, we built The Bourbon with a shared vision of creating something special for our community—a place where people could gather, celebrate, and feel at home. That vision will always be a part of who we are.

Our entire team is grieving alongside our family. This loss has been deeply felt by all of us, and we ask for your patience, kindness, and understanding as we support one another through the days and weeks ahead.

Many of you also knew Cole through The Bourbon, Whatcom Gutter & Construction, or simply through life in our community. We know many of you are grieving this loss with us, and we feel your love, your prayers, and your support. Please know how deeply grateful we are.

As we navigate this unimaginable loss, we will take each day as it comes and do our very best to continue serving our guests and our community. We appreciate your patience and grace as we find our footing together.

Thank you for the incredible love, prayers, and support you have shown our family and our team. Your kindness has meant more than words can express.
