📚✨ COME SEE ME AT THE INDIAN HILLS ARTS & CRAFTS FAIR!

I’m so excited to be heading to the Indian Hills Arts & Crafts Fair this year—and I’ll be there signing copies of my Sky High Sweets books! 🧁📖🏔️

What started in my kitchen as a love of baking at altitude has somehow turned into an entire book series, and getting to sit behind a table and actually SIGN them still feels a little surreal. 🥹🖤

The new On the Run: Baked Goods website is officially live!

What started as a home-kitchen project with my daughter has grown into a cottage bakery, private baking classes, the Sky High Sweets book series, and a career I'm incredibly proud of.

The new site finally brings all of those pieces together in one place—and seeing how far this little idea has come feels pretty damn good.

Our old website has officially come down, and instead of simply putting it back together, I decided it was time to build something that actually reflects what On the Run has become.

What started in my home kitchen has grown into so much more — custom bakes, artisan breads, baking classes, the Sky High Sweets books, community events, and now some pretty exciting plans for what comes next. 👀

So I'm giving the website a glow-up to match.

🥹🖤 This is why I teach.

One of my young baking students recently had a school assignment asking them to name someone they find inspirational.

They wrote my name.

And underneath it:
“She helps me become a better cook.”

Cue me trying not to cry. 😭

When I started offering baking classes through On the Run, I wanted to teach kids how to measure, mix, decorate, troubleshoot and become more confident in the kitchen. I don't think I realized just how much these little hours together would end up meaning to me, too.
Cakes get eaten. Cookies disappear. Orders come and go.

But helping a kid discover that they're capable of something? That's the good stuff.

I couldn't be prouder to be someone's baking teacher. 🖤🧁

We’re incredibly excited to share that On the Run: Baked Goods has been featured by VoyageDenver for the THIRD time! 🥹🖤

What started in a home kitchen as a way for a stay-at-home mom and her little girl to spend time together has grown into custom baking, high-altitude recipes, baking classes, books, local partnerships, and now the next chapter of On the Run.

Having our story told once was an honor. Having VoyageDenver come back three separate times to see how that story continues to grow is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Thank you to every person who has ordered a cake, taken a class, bought a book, shared a post, recommended On the Run, or simply cheered us on.

🎀✨ This cake challenged me.

I had a vision, some blue fondant, an unreasonable amount of determination, and more than one moment of wondering what the hell I had gotten myself into. 😂

But LOOK AT HER.

Vanilla cake, buttercream, hand-shaped fondant draping, a giant edible bow, and just enough edible glitter to make the whole thing shimmer like satin. ✨

Every cake teaches me something, and this one definitely pushed my decorating skills outside my comfort zone. I’m pretty damn proud of how she came together. 🖤

🖤 Help Us Build the Next Chapter of On the Run: Baked Goods 🖤

We have some BIG news — On the Run is growing!

After years of baking from our cottage kitchen, teaching baking classes, publishing the Sky High Sweets books, and growing our presence within the Evergreen community, we’re taking one of our biggest steps yet:

On the Run is getting a food trailer!

This little yellow trailer doesn’t look like much just yet, but we have a vision for what it can become: a mobile extension of On the Run serving fresh bagels, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and more to our community.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe to help with the cost of the trailer and the work required to get it ready for service. Every contribution will help us move closer to opening that service window for the first time.
If you’re able to donate, we are incredibly grateful. If donating isn’t possible, simply sharing our fundraiser is an enormous way to support this small, local business.

On the Run started in a home kitchen with a love of baking and a big idea. Seeing how far it has come — and imagining where this trailer could take us next — means more than we can put into words.
