Hickory Pit Stop Championship BBQ

09/26/2026

Tonight at 5pm, we will close the bar side of the restaurant for our Evansville Otters watch party. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause! This is the first we’ve actually closed off a portion of the restaurant for them, however we wanted to give back to them tonight in a special way for packing this place out every single playoff game as our way of saying thank you!

Our family room area & carryout options will still be available! LETS GO OTTERS!

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we are currently operating at carryout only.

In our efforts to fix our recent plumbing issues, our friends at Altstadt Hoffman Plumbing Services need a little extra time to do their work! It’s because of this, we cannot offer restrooms for our in house customers. However, we would like to take the time to thank the two gentlemen here from Altstadt working so hard!

Our goal for now is re-open in house dinning at 1pm.

ATTENTION ALL CUSTOMERS!⚾️

As mentioned earlier we are playing the Otters game on the big TV in the bar tonight. However, due to the overwhelming response from local fans, we are offically booked up on that side of the restaurant this evening.

Family side is still available, just no smart tv to stream the game. Carryout still available as well! We apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

THE OTTS ARE HOT BABY!!! GOOD LUCK & BRING IT BACK TO BOSSE!!!

If you need somewhere to watch the game tonight, we WILL have it on the brand new BIG SCREEN! First pitch 6:05pm

Congratulations to Evansville Otters 🎉🥂⚾️

With Windy City's loss tonight, we are postseason bound!

Due to tiebreakers over Florence, Schaumburg and Windy City, we have officially clinched our spot in the 2026 Frontier League Playoffs!

Still work to do but for now, let's celebrate, Evansville! Your Otters are postseason bound!

⚾️🦦
The 102-game grind comes down to this exact moment...
Every single drop of sweat left in the hot July sun, every extra rep in the batting cages, every spectacular diving catch out on the grass. It wasn't just to coast through the month of August. It was to earn the right to play meaningful baseball right now.
Generations of greats have stepped onto the dirt at historic Bosse Field. It's our turn to write the next chapter of Evansville history.
We don't look back, and we don't look ahead. We play one inning at a time, one game at a time. We back up our pitchers, we pass the baton in the lineup, and we play with the grit this city thrives on. The postseason is waiting. The division is right there for the taking. Let’s go clinch it!

Good Morning Everyone!

This morning we received word that our Reitz Memorial High School community lost who was probably the BIGGEST Evansville area sports fan, Sam Schulz!

Sam had a rare disease called EB or otherwise known as “butterfly disease”. Sam was a warrior, Sam was a fighter, and most importantly he was a RMHS TIGER!!!!

Our thoughts & prayers are with the family! We are thankful he is no longer in pain!

PSA⚠️

HOLIDAY HOURS FOR THIS WEEKEND‼️
-Thursday 10am-10pm
-Friday 10am-10pm
-Saturday CLOSED
-Sunday CLOSED

We will be taking Saturday & Sunday off entirely to give ourselves a very much needed break! We have faced many obstacles this week with the heat wave! From refrigeration, to AC problems, and our PitMaster having to cook through the late night hours to *somewhat* beat the heat!

However, it’s with great honor to know that our customers choose our family’s tradition of great BBQ to have on the holiday! Heating instructions will be given for any orders being saved for the 4th!

THANK YOU EVERYONE & HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!🇺🇸
