Sometimes the smallest moments carry the loudest echoes.

Today, a couple walked into the shop. You could tell right away… she was on a mission and he was along for the ride 😄 She had that “you HAVE to try this” energy, and he had that “alright, alright, let’s see what this is about” look.

They ordered our monthly special, the Grandma Banana Pudding Shake. When it came time to pay, he was just a dollar short. Not a big deal. I smiled and told him, “Don’t worry about it. Just tell a friend if you like it.”

Simple moment. Easy to forget.

Or so I thought.

About 20 minutes later, another gentleman walked in. Before he even ordered, he said, “A guy just stopped me out in the parking lot and told me I HAD to come in here and try your banana pudding shake. He told me what you did for him… and said this place was worth it.”

That hit me.

Not because of the dollar. Not because of the sale.

But because someone took a moment out of their day to be honest, to share something good, and to pay it forward in their own way.

So if you’re reading this… thank you. Truly.

You didn’t just send in another customer.
You reminded me why I do this in the first place. 🍦
