Hey Cafe Customers and friends. You've all been on my mind during this crazy year. I can't imagine how different things would be at the Cafe during Covid but I hope you're all staying sane and happy! When we packed up the Cafe I took home some extra bottles of juice and stuck them in our garage fridge. Yesterday I was cleaning it out to store Thanksgiving stuff and found a few bottles of Cranberry Juice. Mary Lou bought this brand so we did too! (Other pics just because!) - Elizabeth

The other day I (Elizabeth) met some new people through my new job (working with authors for a Bookstore) and they asked me how long I'd been with the store. Then they asked me what I did before...and I told them the story of The Upstairs Cafe. They asked if I missed it and though I always miss it, and you guys, at that moment I missed it more than ever. Telling them stories about late trains, election days, new scone flavors, favorite customers (all of you!) and Gail and Shelley and I carrying on the Mary Lou legacy it seemed like yesterday that we were still up there at the crack of dawn, serving coffee to all our friends. Hope you're all doing well!

It's been a long time since we posted anything here! But we wanted to wish all our Cafe friends a happy holiday season! Hope you ate well at Thanksgiving, are celebrating Haunukkah with loved ones or looking forward to Santa bringing you something special. And of course we wish you good health and happiness in the New Year! We miss you all, every day!
