Hello friends! Here's what we're serving this week at Inspired Indian Supper Club.
Butter Chicken
Invented in 1950s Delhi at Moti Mahal restaurant, created to use up leftover tandoori chicken in a rich tomato butter sauce. Still one of the most recognized Indian dishes in the world.
Matar Paneer
A North Indian home-kitchen staple: fresh paneer cheese and green peas simmered in a light tomato gravy. Simple, comforting, and a fixture on family dinner tables across the region.
Baingan Bharta
Roasted cubes of eggplant get mashed with a spiced onion-tomato masala. A Punjabi classic built around fire-roasted flavor.
Dal Makhani
Another Moti Mahal invention from 1950s Delhi, this one built on black lentils simmered for hours with butter and cream. Rich, slow-cooked comfort food.
Mint Rice
Basmati rice tossed with fresh mint, a cooling counterpoint to the richer dishes on your plate.
Beet Raita
A yogurt-based side that cools down spicy meals. This version gets its color and earthy sweetness from beets.
Kachumber
A refreshing chopped salad of cucumber, tomato, red onion, and cilantro, dressed with lemon juice and a pinch of our house-blended chaat masala. Served alongside richer dishes for a fresh, crunchy contrast.
Also pickled red onions, whole wheat roti, and mango lassi.
Omnivore and Vegetarian Thalis available for $65 (save $10). Each item also available for individual purchase.
