This October, every NA Espresso Fizz you order sends $1 straight to our newest community partner: Curt's Cafe.
For almost 14 years, this Evanston-based nonprofit has been changing the trajectory for young adults ages 15–24 across the Chicagoland area. How? By giving them the opportunity to work. Curt's Café runs two full-service cafés and a catering operation where participants earn real paychecks while learning barista skills, food service, and what it means to show up for a team. But the job training is just the entry point. Behind it is a full circle of support: life coaching, help finishing school or earning a G.E.D., case management, and mentors who stick around long after the program ends.
Many of the young people who walk through Curt's Café's doors are navigating things most of us never have to think about — unstable housing, the justice system, single parenthood. What they're offered in return is dignity, structure, and a real shot at something sustainable.
