Hello Friends of Seize the Cafe. I'm back and we have a fun menu for this week. Also if you haven't seen we had a write up in the Eugene weekly so don't wait on making your reservation. This week's (10/8/26-10/10/26) dinner menu is Pan seared duck breast with a pomegranate demi glace parsnip puree and veggies for $30, Pan seared filet mignon with a brandy mushroom leek cream sauce mashed potatoes and veggies for $32, pan seared steelhead with a buerre blanc sauce truffled wilted brussel sprout salad and baked rice for $29, a house made pasta with a mushroom Marsala w**e sauce for $19 and a flash seared Hamachi with a green grape and star anise gastrique and carmalized roasted figs for $18. Hello Friends of Seize the Cafe. Next week Nikki, Wiley and I are going on vacation next week so this week's dinner is Hawaiian themed. This week's (9/24/26-9/26/26) dinner is Polynesian style braised pork with mashed potatoes and veggies for $28, grilled mahi mahi with a mango salsa baked rice and veggies for $30, house made pasta with a basil and arugula pesto peppers and Parmesan for $19, and a papaya chilled seafood salad for $16. Hello Friends of Seize the Cafe, this week inspiration brings us to Normandy France. This week's dinner(9/17/26-9/19/26) dinner menu is, bone in pan roasted pork chop with a carmalized onion apple brandy sauce with scalloped potatoes and veggies for $29, poisson americaine I think with monkfish baked rice and veggies for $30, house made pasta with roasted cauliflower and a blue cheese cream sauce for $19. Hello Friends of Seize the Cafe. This week's as promised more French. We are doing cuisine inspired by The Alsace region. Steak frites with crispy potatoes and a red w**e and Roquefort sauce and veggies for $29, oven choucroute de la Mer king salmon with sauerkraut black rice and veggies for $31 roasted butternut squash stuffed pasta with a buerre noir and sage sauce for $19 and a smoked salmon gallette with creme fraiche caramelized onion and potato for an appetizer. Hello Friends of Seize the Cafe, I feel a little fall in the air and that always gets me excited to do a little French cooking. So for the next few weeks we are exploring French cuisine. This week's (9/3/26-9/6/26) dinner menu inspiration is from Brittany. Porc au cidre braised pork shoulder with c***r and apples over roasted potatoes with brussel sprouts for $27, Sole meuniere with a caper lemon buerre blanc sauce baked rice and veggies for $28, a house made pasta with leeks mushrooms thyme and a truffle cream sauce for $19 and Cotriade a traditional Brittany seafood stew. This week's (8/13/26-8/15/26) dinner menu is Carcamusa a traditional braised pork with pimenton w**e and garlic served over mashed potatoes with veggies for $26, oven roasted black cod with romesco sauce baked black rice and veggies for $28, and a stuffed pasta with goat cheese and a pesto marinara sauce for $19. A beautiful tuna and melon salad for an appetizer. Available Thursday-Saturday for dine in or take out. Reservations recommend for dine in.
