Unbelievably it’s the last day of August!
The last official day of SJS Awareness Month!
We never knew until it became our reality and experience with our daughter Caitlin Blubaugh that August is SJS Awareness Month.
These 2 photos are of her and I. The first holding her hand in the hospital praying for her life and healing.
The second is a recent trip she and I took to Colorado for a couple days. One we had been wanting to take before she was hospitalized.
We as a family have learned so much about SJS/TEN since last November. Something we had never heard of our entire lives.
We are still learning and walking beside our beautiful daughter as she continues her recovery.
We are thankful that she is a survivor ❤️
We have shared her posts as she has begun to share her experience and story and journey as a survivor of this rarely heard of medical condition.
I will add her post to our story that will follow this post on our shop instagram and facebook.
⚠️Please note the photos are graphic.
We want to again say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers, food, notes and cards of encouragement and financial help while we were in the hospital for over 3 weeks with her in ICU and since returning home.
Many of you continue to ask me personally about how she is doing. And that means so much that you are still thinking of her and our family. We appreciate your continued thoughts and prayers. We feel and appreciate them so very much.
So we humbly ask to help us spread awareness of SJS/TEN. It can happen to anyone.
We were blessed that Caitlin survived and is healing and reclaiming her health and life one day at a time.
Thank you for your care for our family and for helping us educate others.
