Some days like today, I feel like I need three of me, that this real estate stuff is just waaaay too stressful, and that I might just go back to full-time baking.

Then I find myself holding a pan of toasted coconut flaming to the ceiling and letting out a blood-curdling scream for my sick husband at the other end of the house.

Heard, God.

In related news, there will be a limited amount of toasted coconut on my yogurt bar at the Grace and Mercy Breakfast in the morning. First come, first served.

HEAR YE! HEAR YE!! Thanks to the tremendous outpouring of love from "regulars" and sad first-timers during the past 2 days, we are out of many ingredients...which is actually the goal of a closing restaurant. We have decided to offer a high-end hors d'oeuvres buffet tonight from 6-9....it will include some of your Bistro faves like Coconut Chicken, Pimiento Cheese Poppers, Chicken Salad, & Fried Green Tomatoes....WHILE SUPPLIES LAST along w/ other culinary creations! We will close from 3-6 in order to recover from a BUSY day and prepare the buffet!! Cole Sitzlar will be pickin' and a grinnin'. $10 cover charge for anybody that wants to celebrate our last night!!
