Village Restaurant’s new ice cream stand featuring 43 flavors including sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegan! We are now open for the 2022 season!

And just like that….the Creamery is CLOSED! We started this venture in 2020, certainly a difficult time to open a new business. With a brand new renovation and sudden extreme regulations we had no idea what to expect. But even with COVID and battling with the unknown the community showed up in so many ways.

Thank you to all the Creamery Crew over the years! Getting to be your summer and, for many, first time jobs was our pride and joy. Watching your friendships bloom, seeing you grow in your professionalism, and, this year, sending our first ever employee off to college after 4 seasons has been just amazing! Thanks for participating in our Creamery Games and keeping the ice cream business fun. We will have the fondest memories of all of you.

We are not 100% sure the fate of Village Creamery. We do not want to speak for the new owners but we are pretty sure they plan to keep selling ice cream. We look forward to seeing the new ventures headed for Essex and leave with gratitude for all the reminiscence 🍨 🌈

Our incredibly hard working manager, Lucia, is opening the Creamery today from 12-7pm! Our final season is almost over and we have a little bit of a lot of flavors left. Everything must go so all items are half priced. You can even get pints and quarts of toppings! Make your last trip to the Village Creamery, grab all your favorite items, and don't forget to leave a little something for Lucia! She has worked extremely hard this season and the Creamery wouldn't have been the same without her 🍦

The Village Creamery will be closed by September 27th or as soon as we run out of ice cream. All ice cream (excluding frappes and sundaes) is 50% off. Grab your quarts before your favorite flavor runs out. Due to closing mid week the Creamery will be open Monday and Tuesday next week unless we run out of ice cream!

It’s windy but we plan on being open today! If we lose power or the conditions become dangerous we will post closing here. Otherwise, come grab your half priced flavors and say hi to our Creamery Crew! We only have 2 weeks left

The Creamery is open 4-8 today! Come get your half priced quarts and stock up your freezers! Flavors are first come first serve, once it’s gone it’s gone for the season!

But make sure to look over our half priced menu for tomorrow so you can save some $$ while stocking your freezers. Remember, the Creamery season ends October 1st so don’t miss out!

Check out today's half-priced flavors! You can get any size half priced excluding sundaes and frappes. The Creamery will be closed for the season when Village Restaurant closes or October 1st, whichever comes first. Be sure to get on over and grab your favorite flavor before it's gone! The Creamery is open 11:30-8pm today.

Our season is coming to an end! Hurry in to get all your flavors before they’re gone! We’re open 11:30-9 today, get your pints and quarts to go to stock up those flavors.

It’s been a rainy summer but our Crew always looks on the bright side. We have about a month left to our Creamery Season 😢. Our flavors will become more limited as we reach October first so make sure to get to the Creamery while we still have your favorite flavors!

We have a little Crew Games Tie Breaker competition going on and we need your help! The teams were challenged with coming up with a frappe special for the month of August. Check photo caption for ingredients and vote in the comments for which one you cannot wait to try!

It’s that season so we might as well have fun with it. Introducing Caroline’s Greenhead Frappe made with green monster ice cream, chocolate drizzle, whipped cream, and crush Oreos. It’s going to be hot all week so be sure to cool off at the Creamery!
