The Inked Sweets Story...
The inspiration behind Inked Sweets is really quite simple; to bake fun and flavor into creative sweets for everyone to enjoy. As a child Mleanie King discovered her passion for baking while watching her mother create the family's "famous coffee cake" recipe. Sparking an enthusiasm in her, Melanie would tie on an oversized apron and drag a chair up to the counter to help
her mother bake as often as she could. It was only a matter of time before her talents would mature into her blossoming business now known as Inked Sweets! After perfecting a variety of recipes, the sweets quickly became a hit with friends and family. Melanie was soon creating delicious cupcakes, cookie bouquets, and specialty sweets for birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, weddings and corporate events. She continually strives to learn and grow by experimenting with new recipes and designs in order to produce the best tasting and eye-catching products as possible. Each creation is made to order from scratch and artistically designed. Sharing happiness with people through baking is her greatest reward!
