Sunday turned out to be sunny and mild for Donovan and Chloe’s wedding celebrated at Asbury Woods Brown’s Farm. I have performed ceremonies inside the barn; but never walking aways to a large clearing leading to a platform in the middle of a field surrounded by a meadow filled with beautiful yellow and purple wildflowers! 💐 We performed their ceremony on the platform where they were joined after with their daughter, Calle. A few friends were present to provide their well wishes and congratulations to the newlyweds.

In 2016, I performed Christopher and Darrell’s wedding ceremony under the Gazebo at the Wintergreen Gorge cemetery; and Chris’s mom also attended. On Saturday, 10 years later and now with their two children, Amelia and Hunter, I performed their vow renewal under that same gazebo. We honored the memory of Chris’s mom, who has since passed, with Darrell’s mom joining. We celebrated the formal union of the family with the sand ceremony, though six year old Hunter wasn’t as much interested in the ceremony as he was looking forward to eating afterward! 🍰 Chris said he wants to call me for the next ten-year anniversary. Here’s hoping I am still on this earth plane to join them again. Here’s to 10 more years to this beautiful family!

Port Farms in Waterford is a fall favorite where Cameron and Danielle chose to have their wedding and to say their own vows. They were originally going to have their 2 year old son join them in the family sand ceremony but when it came time, he was fast asleep on grandpa’s shoulder.
Two other couples came up to remind me that I performed their wedding ceremony, one 17 years ago (my first year) and one three years ago. I am always happy to hear how their adventures are going and that they have been enjoying life together. Here’s to a long joyful and peaceful life for my newlyweds and their family.

At the ever elegant Whispering Trees Manor in Edinboro, Donny and Jessica were married today under the gazebo in front of the many guests attending to support this lovely couple and give them many blessings. Their son, Maverick, served as the ring bearer and their daughter, Emma, joined the bridal party as a flower girl. Congratulations to Donny and Jess and their family celebration!

What can I say? It was another beautiful wedding on another beautiful day. Mitch and Kaitlyn exchanged their vows at the rustic wooded setting at Bear Ridge Destination in Clymer, NY. Mitch teared up when Katlyn came down the aisle and caught up in the contagion of emotion I teared up, too. Little Livy was a darling hit in the wedding but Eddie, Kaitlyn and Mitch’s dog, who wandered freely throughout the afternoon, captured everyone’s attention and generous affection. May all three have much luck and many blessings.

My early afternoon wedding today included a very sweet couple with their most adorable 3 girls at Presque Isle. They all got to participate in the Family Sand ceremony where each person has their own color sand and takes turns layering it into a bottle to make an art form symbolizing the family bond so they can put it in a place of honor to remind them of their love and commitment to each other.

Haley waited eagerly in her stunning dress before the wedding as friends outside decorated the couple’s car.
