When I was visiting my aunt and uncle in Antalya a couple of years ago, they took us to this cute restaurant where they specialized in this dish, which is called Antalya Piyazı.
Antalya piyazı (Antalya-style bean salad) is a famous, creamy, and zesty specialty from the Mediterranean coast of Türkiye. Unlike standard piyaz in other regions, which is a dry side salad, Antalya piyazı is a hearty dish served in a rich, velvety sauce made of tahini, lemon juice, vinegar, and garlic.
I’ve been making it at home on repeat so I figured I’d share this beautiful and delicious dish with you all. 💚
