We are heartbroken over the loss of Joe Anderson. I had the opportunity to talk with Joe many times over the years about different issues affecting our business and our Englewood community. He was always approachable, engaged, supportive, and most importantly, he listened. You always felt like he genuinely cared.

Like so many in our Englewood community, we are still in disbelief. Losing someone so young, talented, and with so much more ahead of him is just incredibly sad.

Our hearts are with Joe’s beautiful young family, friends, fellow council members, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Englewood lost a very special person today. From all of us at Chula, rest in peace, Joe. You will be deeply missed.

Chula has always been a place where pups are part of the family., after all, our restaurant was named after the sweet little Chula. So today we celebrate ALL the beautiful pups who bring so much love into our lives.🐾✨
