A little look at a beautiful bridal shower hosted in our upstairs dining room last week 💛🌷💐

Our upstairs dining room is one of two special spaces we offer for hosting bridal showers, baby showers, communions, parties, and so much more. This shower was extra special to us because it was for one of our former employees Julie Kotasek. Watching someone who was once part of our day-to-day here come back and celebrate such a big life moment with us made it even more meaningful. Talk about a full circle moment! 🫶🫶

We have officially made it through our first week of the season and wanted to say THANK YOU to every single person who came out, grabbed a treat, and helped us kick off the season right!🍦🍧

And we have to give the biggest shoutout to Amanda😃our VERY FIRST customer of the season!! Starting our year with someone as sweet as her just feels right 🥳

This is a little different than our usual Italian ice excitement posts…

In just the last few days, I have picked up over 10 Italian ice cups from the sidewalks, near the park, and around neighboring businesses. Some weren’t even far from a garbage can… just left there.
That’s honestly really disappointing.

We’re so lucky to be part of Little Italy. The Village & The Little Italy Association works hard to keep this area and the park clean, safe, and something the community can be proud of. They work hard to draw attention to this area with the farmer’s market, weekly summer concerts, holiday family fun and even more.

It should be respected.

We LOVE seeing everyone enjoying Italian ice, hanging out, making memories… that’s what this is all about. But part of that is respecting the space we all share.
Please, please take the extra 5 seconds to throw your cup away.

There are garbage cans all around for a reason.

It might feel small, but it matters. ❤️🤍💚
