What an incredible few days of tours, learning and Nansemond Indian Heritage celebration!

We ventured out to Emporia on Thursday for meetings and discovered a hidden gem in Nature's Market & Cafe. They feature a wonderful FRESH menu and shopping area too!

Friday our team got the opportunity to tour Autism First which provides ABA services in the Hampton Roads area. Very thankful for the work that they do and the resources they provide for children & families.

On Saturday despite a little bit of rain, the 38th Annual Nansemond Indian Powwow kicked off with a GRAND entrance and celebration. Special thanks to Chief Keith Anderson for all that he does to strengthen the Nansemond Indian Nation and allowing the community to celebrate at Mattanock Town!

Wow! You all have showed up this week for our specials! We appreciate you and your support. We sold out of broccoli and cheddar soup today but a new batch will be ready in the morning. Also chicken salad will be made tomorrow. So many wonderful new menu items coming! Everything made fresh!
