Another Unbound is in the books.

We saw familiar faces we look forward to seeing all year. We met new ones we hope to welcome back. We served some great food and heard unbelievable stories. We loved every second of it.

The weekend is epic–not just because of the race, but because of the people it brings together.

To everyone who rode, volunteered, cheered, supported, or simply spent time in Emporia this weekend with : thank you. We can’t wait to fuel your ride next year at PlainSpoken.

We’ve been having a lot of fun getting out into the community these past few weeks — sharing food, seeing familiar faces, and meeting so many new ones along the way.

From Unbound Gravel Training Camp to Emporia Main Street The Taste, and now heading into tonight’s Flint Hills Technical College Foundation/Alumni Auction, we’ve felt incredibly welcomed by the kind of food community that makes Emporia so special.

It’s been a good reminder of why we’re doing this in the first place — to be part of something bigger, and to bring something meaningful to the table.

If you’re at the auction tonight, keep an eye out for our item 👀 we’d love to see it go home with one of you. Shout out our awesome partners for this item - Tallgrass Country Adventures and Gazette Collective!

We’re grateful for all of it. Truly.

Now, we’re turning the page.

Union Street Social is becoming Plainspoken — an all day kitchen, rooted in the same care for good food and good company, with a broader rhythm to match the way people gather throughout the day.

Coffee in the morning.
Lunch when you need it.
Dinner, drinks, and a place to stay awhile.

Still made from scratch.
Still grounded in community.

Just a new chapter.
