It’s Wine Wednesday! And we haven’t done a wine highlight in quite a while so today we will do two! And, don’t forget, 20% off any glass or bottle all night!

Our red for the day is the 2024 Dona Flor Red Blend. This has been a staff and customer favorite from day one! This Portuguese wine is a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Touriga Nacional. Grown in hillside vineyards with strong Atlantic influence, these grapes come together to produce this lovely young wine. It’s a deep garnet color with notes of plum, cherry and black fruits along with hints of truffle and light spices. It’s smooth and well balanced on the palate. This is super easy to drink and could benefit from a light chill. If you haven’t had this yet, swing by. It will become one of your favorites!

Wine 2 is fairly new to us but has gone over quite well: the 2025 Ercole Rose. This Italian rose comes from the Piedmont region and is a blend of Barbera and Dolcetto grapes. It is a rose that stands up on its own but can also handle pretty much any meal you throw at it. It is lightly pinkish orange with notes of raspberry, red apple, and strawberries. You will also find hints of summer herbs, citrus, and even a bit of watermelon! It is crisp and clean on the palate with just the right amount of acidity to keep you coming back for more. On a hot day like today, it’s the perfect sipper!
