This year, I have been lucky enough to join the Roots board of directors, getting a closer look at what it takes to keep the magic of Roots alive.
I’ve shared my story of motherhood on here before, and if you want a detailed peek, please click the link in my bio, directing you to my fundraising page: but the short version is this: becoming a parent is incredibly rewarding and powerful and downright magic. However, it doesn’t come without insecurities, sadness and isolation. Roots does such a wonderful job of striving to keep the connection of community at the forefront of early parenthood.
