Our Story

We are originally from Naples, NY which is located in the Finger-lakes area of NY. Traveled to Colorado for my husband to attend Gunsmithing school an fell in love with the West! Searched the internet while in Colorado to find a suitable business for our expertise. (I managed a tavern for 18 years) The Cafe in Emida would appear frequently in our search so we decided to check it out. We camped at the White Pine Campground and visited the, what was call “Western Cafe” at the time for breakfast. In arriving there was a horse tied up front and folks enjoying the sun on the front porch. We looked at each other and said “This is our kind of place!” The locals where friendly, so we decided to go back to Colorado and relocate to Emida, Idaho and start our new chapter in the restaurant business. While unpacking our U Haul, a car full of people drove by and yelled, GO HOME! We were like, utoh, what have we done, but have since been accepted to the community and I am proud to say, after 13 years of sweat and tears, we are rated a 5 star restaurant from our customers that rate us on facebook.
