The Trading Post: Southern Food and Spirits We’re all about great food and southern hospitality here at The Trading Post; Southern Food & Spirits. Plus, we even have live music to jazz up your meal.

When you stop by for a meal, you’re getting so much more than just a drink and bite to eat -- you’re in for a whole fun experience. Our outdoor space has everything from co****le to hula hoops. Our menu offers an array of possibilities that include seafood and burgers, but we’re best known for our fried chicken. There’s just something about its special, homemade batter that keeps customers coming back craving more.

A love story we were lucky enough to become a small part of. ❤️
Meet Anne and Sid Baker from Raleigh, NC.
Back in 2020, Sid would come to The Trading Post to use our Wi-Fi so he could stay connected with Anne through Facebook Messenger while they were in a long-distance relationship. Fast forward to last night — they came in for dinner together, and we were so blessed to hear their story and realize The Trading Post played a little part in their love journey.
Stories like this remind us that this place is more than food and drinks — it’s memories, connections, and moments that last a lifetime.
