Pork Chop Season 2026 is coming to a close and it’s been an amazing 8 week stretch! Big thanks to IMI and our friends at Meijer. They have been so good to us over the years ❤️ Get ready Pendleton IMI because we will see you on October 14! That’s going to conclude the chop run this year but we are going to do a “chop appreciation” event here in Elwood before we officially shut it down. That’s right, this Tuesday September 29th we will be setting up at the Silver Dollar on 22nd and J street from 5:00-8:00 and get this…..our smoked pork chop dinner with taters,
Green beans and a roll will be $12!!!That’s right $12! We appreciate all the love and support and want to give it back! Drive ups and preorders are welcomed. Text your order to 765-610-4074 to reserve your meal prior to Tuesday.

What a crazy morning at IMI Pipe Creek Jr in Swayzee. Rainy and thunder crashing and the sky was ready to unload on us….and then the dinner bell rang and boy did they come runnin!!!! 500 dinners out the window and the place was crazy. Special thanks to my crew!!

The food business can be a grind with lots of obstacles and stress. Sometimes it’s nice to just volunteer to cook for a group and provide a good meal for good people. Last night I had the privilege to feed the EMS football team and the cheerleaders. It was a lot of fun being around those young kids and watching them interact with each other. The meal started with one of the coaches saying grace before they ate which I thought was great! This would not have been possible without the generosity of Brad Gibson, Alisa Gibson, and Steve Mays who paid/provided all the food.
