After 15 incredible years serving this community, we’re announcing that The Root Trackside is closing — hearts heavy, gratitude heavier. We’ll stay open through our final service on Friday, October 30th, and we’re calling these last weeks a Grand Closing.
We’re sad, and we won’t pretend otherwise. But we’re also proud — we built something meaningful. If you’ve seen a bunch of these bittersweet posts from small, independent spots lately, the industry and economy have been putting up a fight. We’ve been watching those changes for years and did everything we could to adapt along the way. We think we still came out ahead.
Our deepest thank-you goes to this community, and especially our staff — many with us a decade or more, who feel like family. If your team could use talented, wonderful people, hire them!! (and us!) Just let us keep them until November 1st — we want a little more time to show our love, and say goodbye.
So come see us. Spend those gift cards. Get your favorite dish one more time. Help us close out these 15 years in a style worthy of our blood, sweat, tears, laughter, friendships, and memories. We’ll be crying in the shed, then walking into the dining room with our brave faces on — if you know, you know.
After that come to our sister spot Tangent!
