Today’s a bit of a rough one once again. We lost a great man, Darryl.
Here at Mama’s, all of our staff are family to us, so it’s hard to know that one of them is no longer with us. Darryl worked for us for many years as a driver, so perhaps many of you have had a delivery from him over the years.
He knew me since I was just a little kid running around in diapers. I’ll miss all the stories, the laughs, and the wisdom Darryl always had to share. I’ll especially miss all the Oberweis chocolate shakes we used to get and share together.
I’m so glad that we got to have a meal together a few months ago to catch up on old times, share some laughs, and spend some time together with him and his amazing wife, Beth. I’ll always cherish that time.
Please keep Darryl’s family in your thoughts and prayers. We sure will miss ya, D. ❤️
I hope there are plenty of Oberweis chocolate milkshakes and peach cobbler pies waiting for you in heaven. There won’t be a day that goes by that I don’t think of you when I drink that shake or eat that pie.
