This month for Thoughtful Thursday, we’re supporting three great organizations focused on breast cancer awareness, combating domestic violence and supporting our veterans!
For 3 Sisters: For 3 Sisters is a grassroots charity dedicated to raising awareness and improving the lives of people affected by breast cancer. Founded by retired firefighter, Marshall Moneymaker, after he lost three sisters to breast cancer, For 3 Sisters is committed to supporting breast cancer fighters, thrivers, and survivors in any way possible so that no one fights breast cancer alone!
Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence: As the statewide domestic violence coalition, they work daily with local domestic violence service providers and other partners to eliminate intimate partner violence and create a safer Maryland.
Wreaths Across America: While coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies each December on National Wreaths Across America Day is the most visible part of what we do, our mission to Remember, Honor, and Teach is carried out throughout the year. Our service members and veterans deserve (and sometimes need) our support all year round. At WAA, we believe it's our responsibility to invest in our living veterans so that they may thrive in our communities.
Here’s how Thoughtful Thursday works:
With any purchase, you’ll receive a wooden token (one per person).
On your way out, drop your token in one of our three charity boxes.
At the end of the month, we’ll make a donation to each organization based on the number of tokens they receive.
