To our Dakota Cafe Family,
It is a bittersweet announcement that Dakota Cafe will be closing our doors May 31st, 2023 for the final time. It has been an honor serving the Ellensburg area for the past 26 years. We served thousands of people that passed through our doors, first as Sweet Memories Bakery and then as the Dakota. We will always be grateful for the loyalty and love we received from our guests. We also want to thank our employees past and present, our vendors and collaborators who helped us build our brand and our families for their support through the years. We truly appreciate the opportunity we’ve had to serve this great community.
The closing of the restaurant marks the start of a new chapter for Mitch and Kelley that they are ready and excited for. The building will close for the month of June to transition into the opening of a new restaurant.
