What a year! 🎉🍔🌮🍦

From kicking things off with the Welcome BBQ to wrapping up at the Food Festival during Sweecy Day, the 2025–2026 year was filled with great food, fun events, giveaways, and so many memorable moments.

Thank you to everyone who came out, grabbed a meal, entered a giveaway, tried something new, or simply spent time with us throughout the year. Your support and participation are what made these events so special.

Looking back at all the smiles, conversations, and connections made along the way, we're incredibly grateful to have shared another amazing year with the CWU community.

🎓 As we wrap up our Graduating Student Spotlight series, we're celebrating Blake, one of our outstanding CWU Dining Services student managers!

Blake has spent his time with Dining Services as a Student Manager with 1891 Catering, helping deliver memorable experiences and exceptional service across campus. ✨

If you ask Blake for a favorite campus meal, he'll point you straight to the breakfast burritos at Lion's Rock 🌯

In fact, one of his favorite memories from working with Dining Services is getting to make those same breakfast burritos, creating a campus favorite that so many students enjoy.

Blake's hard work, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our Dining Services team, and we're grateful for everything he's contributed along the way.

🎓 Meet Alexis, one of our amazing graduating CWU Dining Services student managers!

For more than three years, Alexis has been a leader in our Cafés and Markets, helping create a welcoming experience for guests while supporting her team with professionalism and positivity. ☕️

When it comes to favorite Dining Services foods, Alexis keeps it simple: you can’t go wrong with a delicious quesadilla. ✨

One of the biggest lessons she’s learned during her time with Dining Services is the importance of communication and building positive, professional relationships. Those skills will continue to serve her well long after graduation.

As she prepares for her next chapter, one thing Alexis will miss most about CWU is our beautiful campus and the memories she’s made here. 🌲🏫

In partnership with Dining Services, the MCC, and EQuAl, this Pride Week celebration will feature live amateur drag performances beginning at 6:30 p.m., great community, and an incredible brunch-for-dinner experience ✨

🎓 Say hello to Dylan, one of our graduating CWU Dining Services student managers!

Over the last 3 years, Dylan has been a familiar face in the SURC, bringing leadership, energy, and positivity to the Dining Services team while creating connections with both coworkers and guests. 💛

If you ask Dylan for a meal recommendation, he’ll tell you to try his favorite combo: a Bacon Burger from Lion’s Rock topped with guacamole from El Gato for the perfect Guacamole Burger 🥑🍔

One of his favorite Dining Services memories comes from the summer camps, when student managers and coordinators stepped up to help run operations while the full-time staff attended meetings. Dylan got the opportunity to take charge of cooking for the camps.

Before he graduates, Dylan has one important question: What’s YOUR favorite meal? 👀🍽️

Thank you, Dylan, for all the hard work, leadership, and positivity you’ve shared with Dining Services these past three years. We’re excited to see where life takes you next! 🎉
