Happy National Coffee Day from Salt & Light Café! The coffee is hot, and our pastries are running a little behind this morning—but that won’t stop us from doing what matters. We will be open until 2pm

Today, we’re remembering Emily and supporting her memory. If you’re able, please round up your purchase or make a donation. Today’s proceeds will go toward Emily’s hospital funds. Not just a coffee stop—come hungry!! Tomorrow is Harvest Fest and the Elkton Square will be closed from 9 AM till 3 PM. However, we will be open.

We will have pastries and grab and go items available, the hot food kitchen will be open, cozy and refreshing drinks available and a seat waiting for you at Salt & Light Café. Stop by today or tomorrow, we’ll be open until 4pm ☺️

You shared what you’d love to see, and we’re making it happen. Here’s what’s going on this week at Salt & Light Café.

Our hours
Tuesday: 7 AM–2 PM
Wednesday–Friday: 7 AM–4 PM
Friday worship: 6 PM
Saturday: 8 AM–4 PM

Small drip coffee is just $1, all day, every day we’re open! The drive-thru starts serving coffee at 6:30 AM, before our doors open.

Our regular hot food menu is available for dine-in, or you can order online for pickup in-store or through the drive-thru.

The pastry case will have chocolate croissants, chocolate chip cookies, seasonal loaves, and Pop-Tarts.

There’s just something so special about these early mornings in mid-September here in Southwest Kentucky.

The crisp morning air, the smell of burning oak and hickory drifting from the to***co barns, the hay in the fields, and the quietness of the countryside. What a true blessing it is to live this life, to be in God’s creation and have the opportunity to slow down long enough to actually see it.

This morning, we woke up to bring in our chickens for processing, and for a moment, I found myself reflecting on the life we’ve been given and the food we have the privilege of serving to our community.

There’s something humbling about raising food, working with your hands, and knowing that what you’re doing is ultimately about providing for other people.

We are just beyond grateful.

Grateful for this land.
Grateful for the work.
Grateful for our community.
And most of all, grateful to God for allowing us to steward it all.

Sometimes the greatest blessings aren’t found in having more, they’re found in being able to recognize what we already have.

Thank you, Lord, for mornings like this.
