This is the reason behind Diamonds & Dancing.

When we decided to make our Adult Prom a fundraiser, we knew we wanted the night to mean something beyond dressing up, dancing, and having a good time.

We wanted it to help a real family.

The mom we chose is raising two young children on her own and doing her best to hold everything together through unemployment, transportation struggles, medical challenges with one of her children, and the constant pressure of trying to make ends meet.

What stayed with us most was how modest her wishes were.

She wasn’t asking for luxury. She wasn’t asking for anything over the top. She was thinking about her kids first — warm clothes, shoes, beds, toys, food, transportation, and the basic things that make life a little easier.

And when we asked what she wanted for herself, even those wishes were simple.

That tells you a lot about a person.

There are parents everywhere quietly carrying more than most people ever see. They are stretching every dollar, figuring out rides, worrying about bills, managing appointments, making sure their children are cared for, and still trying to create happy memories along the way.

This Christmas, we have the chance to help one of those moms breathe a little easier.

Through Diamonds & Dancing, our raffles, and the Diamond Giving Tree, we hope to take some of that weight off her shoulders and give her children a Christmas filled with excitement, comfort, and a little bit of magic.

We are keeping her identity private because this is about supporting her family with dignity, not putting their struggles on display.

But we do want you to know this:

There is a real mom behind this fundraiser.
There are two real little kids waiting for Christmas.
And every ticket purchased, every raffle entered, and every diamond chosen from our Giving Tree will help make their holiday brighter.

We may not be able to fix every challenge this family is facing.

But together, we can make sure that for one Christmas, this mom feels supported, her children feel celebrated, and this family knows their community showed up for them.

That is what Diamonds & Dancing is really about.

We’re bringing prom night back — this time with better food, better drinks, and a much better reason to celebrate.

Join us for Diamonds & Dancing, an Adult Prom benefiting our Adopt a Family for Christmas effort. We’ll have music and dancing, light appetizers, a cash bar, raffles, a door prize, photo opportunities, and our Diamond Giving Tree — all while helping make Christmas a little brighter for a local family.

This year, we’ve selected a local single mom and her two young children to support. She’s been navigating unemployment, transportation challenges, medical appointments for her son, and the day-to-day pressure of keeping things together for her family. What stood out to us most was how little she asked for — necessities, help getting where she needs to go, and a few simple Christmas wishes for her kids.

That’s where this event comes in.

A portion of the evening’s fundraising will go toward helping this family with Christmas gifts, winter clothing, shoes, household needs, groceries, transportation support, and other meaningful needs. Our Diamond Giving Tree will also give guests the opportunity to choose specific items or pledge amounts throughout the night.

Our goal is simple: throw one really fun night and use it to do something genuinely good for a family in our community.

$120 per couple

Each ticket includes light appetizers, one drink ticket, and one door prize ticket per guest.

Tickets are limited to 80 guests due to seating and dance floor capacity, so advance purchase is strongly encouraged.

The Eagles have the day off, but we definitely don’t.

$30 ALL YOU CAN EAT BLUE CRABS today at Mick’s, with football on all day and the Ravens kicking off at 4:25PM.

Come hide from the rain, grab a cold drink, crack some crabs, and settle in for Sunday football.
