Sooooo here's wut HAPPENED......

I woke up in a hospital bed, absolutely BATTERED, wondering how my life had gone so askew. The doctor walked in, checked my chart, and shook his head. "Oh DEER," he sighed. "You’ve really taken a POUNDING."
It all started at my bakery, Nuts Under a Buck - Mini Donuts. Business had been BUCKING all expectations lately, and we were making serious DOUGH! Our mascot, a majestic BUCK, stood proudly on our signs, inviting the whole town to come taste our 🌎 WURLD 🌍 FAMOUS NUTS. That morning, the kitchen was in total chaos as I rushed to prep the daily lineup. I already had a fresh batch of our VASECTOMY NUTS out—the ones where we completely SNIP the center out—and I was just putting the finishing glazes on a tray of KNUMB NUTS.
That’s when the real trouble trotted in. A wild stag, clearly attracted by the sweet, PORKY aroma of our MORNING NUTS, wandered straight through the open back delivery door. I tried to SHOOF it out, but the beast was in a total RUT and refused to budge. It locked eyes with me, saw the tray I was holding, and decided it wanted a piece of the action.
I lunged forward to protect the display, screaming, "Don't touch my NUTS!"
Bad move.... The BUCK charged. It caught me right in the midsection, flipping me head over HOOVES straight into the industrial flour bin. I went down harder than a dozen FUZZY NUTS, totally GLAZED and CONFUSEDED. 😵‍💫🥴😵‍💫
So now I’m stuck here in the hospital. The nursing staff told me I have been mildly conCUSSED, making me a certified KNUMB NUT for trying to box a DEER. They've got me on a strict rest schedule, and the doctor says it's a miracle the antlers missed my lower vitals—otherwise, I would have ended up with a permanent, medical-grade VASECTOMY NUT. 🥹😟🥺
I guess you could say the stakes were high, the DOUGH was soft, and I learned the hard way that when a wild BUCK wants your NUTS, you should just let him have them!!! AAAAAAnd if EWE read all that........ JUST KIDDING! 🤣😂🤪🥰🥰

🦌 Important Update from Nuts Under a Buck - MiniDonuts 🦌

To all of our loyal and friends: we will be closed this weekend.

Family always comes first, and right now, our Main Buck needs me by his side. He has earned himself a stay in the hospita....AGAIN!!l And his health is, and always will be, my number one priority.

As much as we live for firing up the trailer and seeing your smiling faces as we serve up fresh, warm DoeNUTS, the trailer is quiet this weekend while I take care of the most important part of our business and my life.

He will be hydrating and re-hydrating ...

It’s that time of year! A few of our Elko Veteran Corps team members are out and about visiting local businesses and gathering raffle and auction donations for the 2026 Veterans Ball!

💜 Calling All Local Business Owners & Community Supporters! 💜

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and we are putting together an incredible Raffle Drive to raise critical funds for local survivors and specialized medical care right here in Elko. John and I, Nuts Under a Buck - MiniDonuts, are reaching out to our amazing small business community to ask for tax-deductible donations of themed gift baskets, gift certificates, services, or individual raffle items.

We have received a few messages for donations. We'll be contacting you this week if you've already reached out, to arrange pick up.

Our primary goal is to raise $3,000 directly for CADV (Community Against Domestic Violence) to support emergency shelter, resources, and advocacy for individuals and families in crisis.did you know our CADV center is the only one for all of Elko County, Eureka County and White apin County?

Extra Impact: If we surpass our $3,000 goal, every dollar raised beyond that mark will go directly to support our local Forensic Nursing Program in Elko—a vital team providing compassionate, specialized care and medical evidence collection for victims of violence.
