The Trinket Trade Box is CLOSED until further notice.

I am incredibly disappointed to share that during a recent visit to the farmstand, someone deliberately damaged and tore one of the doors completely off the stand itself.

This stand was something I worked very hard to design and build by hand. I have invested thousands of dollars into creating this space for the community to enjoy, and seeing it treated with such disrespect is heartbreaking.

Unfortunately, this is not the first issue we have experienced. Over time, visitors have also stolen four of the pathway lights from the property. I have tried to continue offering this space in good faith despite previous incidents, but this latest act of vandalism has pushed things too far.

As many of you know, I am currently pregnant and dealing with health issues. I simply do not have the time, energy, or extra funds right now to repair damage that never should have happened in the first place.

Because the broken door has left exposed nails and other safety hazards, the Trinket Trade Box will be closed until further notice while I determine when repairs can be made.

Parents, please teach your children that even if something does not belong to them, they should treat it with respect, especially when they are benefiting from it. Community spaces only continue to exist when people care for them.

I would also like to remind everyone that while this stand is open to the public, it is still located on someone’s private property where a real family lives.

To the person responsible: I hope you understand that your actions did not just damage a door. You damaged something that took countless hours of hard work, dedication, and personal investment to create for others.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, respected, and enjoyed the farmstand. Your kindness has never gone unnoticed.

Just wanted to make a general post regarding Bread & Bloom since I’ve received quite a few messages asking about closures, hours, and reopening dates lately.

First, I genuinely appreciate all of the support this little stand has received. The excitement, kindness, and encouragement from the community has honestly meant so much to me. I never expected something so small and personal to be embraced the way it has been.

That being said, I think there may be some misunderstanding about what Bread & Bloom actually is.

This is not a full scale bakery or storefront with employees and guaranteed operating hours. Bread & Bloom is a very small home based cottage food stand run entirely by me while also being a stay at home mom to two young children, currently pregnant, and navigating some health issues as well.

The reason I created this stand in the first place was because my life and schedule are unpredictable, and this gave me the flexibility to bake when I am physically and mentally able to while still putting my family first.

Recently I was out of state for family milestones and my daughter’s birthday, and since returning home I’ve unfortunately been dealing with severe dental pain while waiting to be seen. Because of that, I have not had the ability to keep up with the amount of baking and demand the stand received after opening week.

I completely understand people being excited and eager for reopening updates, but I also kindly ask for grace and understanding regarding messages and response times. If I don’t respond right away, it is usually because I’m tending to my children, resting, traveling, or dealing with health related matters.

Going forward, Bread & Bloom will simply open whenever I am able to stock it. Some weeks may be more active than others, and some weeks I may not open at all. I would rather operate honestly and sustainably than push myself beyond what I can realistically handle.

The trinket trade box itself will still remain open 24/7 for anyone who wants to stop by and participate, even during weeks the baked goods stand is closed.

If anyone is interested in placing a preorder for a specific item, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to fulfill preorders whenever I’m able to accommodate them.

Bread & Bloom Farmstand will be closed this weekend as I’ll be out of town for a few days and taking a little trip out of state 🤍

Thank you all so much for the continued support, kindness, and love you’ve shown my little stand. I’ll be back soon with fresh baked goods and fully restocked shelves next weekend!

Surprise surprise… after so many of you asking, I finally put out a full Strawberry Bloom Bread loaf at the stand today! 🍓

There’s only ONE available at the stand right now, so if you’ve been waiting to purchase an entire loaf, I’d come quick.

With the Strawberry Festival and Mother’s Day this weekend, I’ll also be accepting a very limited number of whole loaf orders for tomorrow. Each loaf can be wrapped and finished with a cute bow for gifting, and orders placed today can be ready for pickup by the end of the day.

I genuinely cannot thank you all enough for the support you’ve been showing my little stand. Every week I realize more and more that I may need to switch to Saturdays only so I can spend the entire week baking, prepping, and putting out enough inventory all at once to keep up with the demand.

Almost sold out again! Just one strawberry pop tart cookie pack and a few slices of strawberry bloom bread left for the day.

I’m so grateful for all of the support Bread & Bloom has been receiving. Truthfully, I’m realizing it may be difficult to keep up with the current demand while still baking everything fresh and homemade myself each week. Because of that, I’m considering transitioning to Saturdays only from 10AM to 8PM after this weekend.

I think having the full week to shop, prep, and bake would allow me to put out a much larger and fuller stock all at once while still keeping the quality and freshness where I want it to be.

5/4/26 Trinket Trade Box Update

I’ve seen so many people of all ages come out and enjoy the trinket trading experience, and it truly makes me so happy. What makes me even happier is how fair everyone has been while trading. There have been no thefts, no garbage left behind, and no one taking more than they should.

I’m so grateful to be able to trust this community to keep this something fun and positive for everyone involved. Thank you for showing up and participating.
